The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are calling on all English churches to set apart the week before Pentecost for prayer for our country and our witness in the community.
Our hope is for all Christians to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, for all of us to have confidence to share the Gospel, and for all to respond to the call of Jesus Christ to follow him as disciples, to live out the Gospel and to seek God’s kingdom from day to day.
How is your church responding? Here in Chesham we are prayer walking around the district of St Mary’s during the week commencing 8th May. There are 10 different zones where prayer walks are being led throughout the week. I’m leading a prayer walk starting from 31 Chapmans Crescent, CHESHAM, on Saturday 14th May at 0930 hours for about 1.5 hours, walking the streets of my neighbour. You are welcome to join us walking and praying and listening to God, blessing our neighbours and seeking God’s will for this town.
